The main aim of my thesis is to evaluate the availability of a retail network of hypermarkets in South Bohemia region with help of ArcGIS 10.2 software. The retail availability is evaluated by using basic models and tools, that are commonly used in practical application. Availability is evaluated by Huff model, Thiessen polygons, Buffer and network-based on spatial analysis tools called Network Analyst. I researched companies in the region, which have at least one hypermarket. These companies are AHOLD Czech Republic, a.s., Globus ČR, k.s., Kaufland Česká republika, v.o.s. a Tesco Stores ČR, a.s. The outcome is analysis of the availability of the selected type of retail units in the South Bohemia region and also proposing of modifications. I found that retail availability in this region is on the adequate level. Bachelor thesis also include a theoretical part, which deals with the definition of terms, that I use in this work.
Factors Influencing Impulse Buying in Retail Stores
Giorgadze, Nino ; Král, Petr (advisor) ; Karlíček, Miroslav (referee)
Impulse buying is a widely pervasive phenomenon. Statistics shows that more and more shoppers are experiencing irresistible urge to purchase unplanned and in most cases unnecessary product. Existing researches fall short in identifying most suitable tools that marketers can adopt in order to promote impulsive sales. Therefore, this thesis provides deep analysis of those, controllable factors that influence impulse buying. Particularly four external cues are examined: product display, promotional signage, sensory elements and social atmospherics. Research has deductive approach. First, existing academic articles and research papers are analyzed. Then two different methods of primary data collection are covered. Self-reported online survey is used as a main research tool. Received data of 193 respondents is analyzed in SPSS software using Pearson correlation test and standard multiple regression analysis. Results of store experiment and interviews are covered next. The research concludes that product display has strongest impact on impulse buying, influences and encourages consumer unplanned purchase decisions. Thus, marketers are advised to promote product presentation in the stores.

SPACE MANAGEMENT OF SELECTBUSINESS COMPANY
RENNEROVÁ, Monika
For analyzing of chosen bussines firm{\crq}s space managment, which is hypermarket Globus, ČR, k. s., České Budějovice I used mainly marketing research work for my project, I carried out by questionary investigation. From the results informants stated in the list of questions is obvious, that shopping in hypermarket Globus is prefered more than shopping with different firm. The reasons are Globus hypermarket has a large selection of grocery and ungrocery merchandies, well-arranged products in shelves, an in built resturant {--} great for lunch, place where you can relax and a lot of parking space. Hereafter I found out, that shelf system in Globus hypermarket is mostly suitable. Customers who don`t agree with allocation by space managment of Globus, aren`t satisfied with location of food and drinks, which are on the opposite sides of the hypermarket. In my opininon, I think, changing the location wouldn`t be reasonable solution. Since beverages have their own archival store and loading platform relocating food next to supplies would cause relocating the archival store as well. In addition the hypermarket would lose part of it{\crq}s profit. Customers walk from one side of the shop to the other side and wouldn`t even realize. This will increase the chances of customers buying something in other departments, where they didn`t mean to go.
